Network Of Juveniles Obtaining Support (NOJOS)

NOJOS is a structured treatment system created for youth who have been involved in sexually harmful behavior. It focuses on helping them take responsibility, develop healthier behaviors, and prevent future problems, while recognizing that teens are still developing.

Happy People

NOJOS Supports Holistic Treatment

We integrate standard sex-offense-specific treatment components, insight into offense dynamics and choice to offend, building realistic and effective self-regulation strategies and skills, developing a family safety plan, and much more.

Many youth need opportunities to resolve their own childhood victimization with interventions apart from the focus on their sexual misconduct to assist them in resolving trauma, enhancing emotional coping skills, and developing a healthy sexual identity.

Our professional staff is here to support youth in need on a journey to healing.

How does it work?

NOJOS uses a level system (1–8) to determine the type of therapy a youth needs. Here at Therapath Health we provide services for Level 1 or 2. We require NOJOS therapy to be conducted in-person.
Level 1
Mild offense History

Typical treatment: 2–4 months (This can vary)

Level 2
Moderate Risk or History

Typical treatment: 6–9 months (This can vary)

What to expect at intake

We may ask:
  • Has the court required your child to attend therapy?
  • Has a Sexual Behaviour Risk Assessment (SBRA) been done?
  • Do you know your child’s assigned NOJOS level?
We may ask:
  • Court paperwork or assessments
  • Your child’s safety plan
  • A signed release form (so we can speak with your child’s probation officer, if needed)

*We recommend that at least one parent (if not both) attend the first session. Your involvement is key to your child’s success in therapy.

If you have more questions, feel free to give us a call. We’re here to guide you with compassion and clarity.
